Continue Current Litchfield Override
Prop 437 continues the existing Maintenance and Operations (M&O) Budget Override for Litchfield Elementary School District.
Is NOT a new tax or an increase of the current tax rate but maintains funding that voters previously approved.
YES to renew the current Litchfield M&O Budget Override with NO TAX RATE INCREASE!
How will Prop 437 Funds be Used?
- Recruit and retain teachers and staff with competitive compensation.
- Enhance districtwide school safety coordination and planning.
- Hire nurses and health specialists to provide student wellness and support services.
- Support athletics and extracurricular student activities.
- Offer music, art, PE, band, and enrichment opportunities.
- Provide interventionists and student academic support.
Renew Current Agua Fria High School Override
Prop 438 continues the existing Maintenance and Operations (M&O) Budget Override for Agua Fria Union High School District.
NOT a new tax or increase the current tax rate. It maintains funding that has been in place for over 20 years.
If Prop 438 fails, the district would need to reduce its budget by over $12 million annually for the next three years.
YES to renew the current Agua Fria M&O Budget Override with NO TAX RATE INCREASE!
How will Prop 438 Funds be Used?
- Student workforce development programs (e.g., Nursing, Fire Science, IT & Robotics, Advanced Manufacturing, Agriculture, Arts, Work-Based Learning)
- Safe schools (school resource officers, campus safety personnel, security technology, emergency preparedness)
- Critical staffing (recruitment and retention of high-quality staff, healthcare professionals, counselors, and support staff)
